What's New With The Lot?

Final Update

Well, all good things come to an end and it appears our time is up here at The Lot. We want to thank everyone who came out and supported local music and the charities.

We'll be writing our final checks to charity soon and we're happy to report that we raised over $3,600 for charity in our brief span of being open. So, once again, thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last year. Perhaps we'll see you all again someday soon, but for now we must bid you farewell.

September News Update

Thanks to everyone who has come out and supported us over the summer. We just wanted to update everyone on the status and ask for you all to continue supporting the cause. We recently sent a check to Blood Water Mission for about $2400 dollars and we'll be sending a follow up check within the next few weeks.

After much deliberation we have decided our next charity will be Columbus Coalition for the Homeless. All profits starting with the beginning of September will be going to the Columbus Coalition for the Homeless. The money we donate will go into a discretionary fund that will be used to help the homeless get housing, obtain work, and obtain government IDs. Pretty much everything they need to get on their feet and going again.

We've seen a little less involvement as the summer has worn on and people's lives have kept them away, but we're hoping to really ramp things back up as we enter the fall months. So please come out and join us and help support a good cause. We're still here and doing well.

May News Update

We've had some great shows over the past few weekends. Special thanks to all the bands who have come out and to Digital Xtreme Media for the shows on April 11 and 18th. Watch out for Sons Had Fathers' new EP coming soon.

The good people at Lotz Studios came out to see Keith Jenkins and The Moving Parts along with Flash House and The Slang on April 24th and were kind enough to take some photos. Click the pictures below to see more of the Photos.

The Lot Grand Opening - January 15, 2009

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make the grand opening a tremendous success. It was -12 degrees outside but we were all quite comfortable with our coffee inside. We'll be doing it again this Thursday night so come on out and join us, and make sure to bring friends. It's for a good cause. Here are some pictures from our opening night thanks to Emily Scott.
